You Do Not Need Four More Subscriptions to Run Your Website
Here is a conversation we have most months.
A business owner wants a proper photo gallery on their site. We name the plugin that does it well. They ask what it costs. We say it is an annual subscription. Their face does that thing — because they are already paying monthly for hosting, the domain, email, a CRM, a scheduling app, a review tool, and something from Adobe that nobody can cancel.
Nobody wants a seventh subscription. Fair enough.
What we did about it
We hold agency licences for the three premium plugins we actually use on client sites: Themeco Pro (the theme and page builder), Envira Gallery (photo galleries) and Soliloquy (homepage sliders).
Agency licences cover unlimited client sites. So on any site we build, host or maintain, we can install and license them — and you never buy a subscription, never receive a licence key, and never get an auto-renewal email in fourteen months that you have forgotten the purpose of.
$45 a year for the gallery plugin. $45 for the slider. $55 for the theme and builder. Or $120 for all three. Most people take one. That is fine — it is the point.
Why this is not just a bundling trick
The subscription is the small part. The maintenance is the part that quietly breaks sites.
Premium plugins push updates. Updates occasionally conflict with a theme, or with each other, and the symptom is not a nice error message — it is a contact form that silently stops sending, or a gallery that renders as a column of enormous photos on mobile. The owner does not notice. Visitors do.
Somebody has to apply those updates, look at the site afterwards, and fix it when it moves. On most small business sites, nobody does.
And we will talk you out of one
Plenty of homepages convert better with a single strong image and a clear headline than with a slider. If that is you, we will say so, and you will pay $45 instead of $120.

If you ever leave us, the licence stays with us and you would buy your own single-site licence for anything you want to keep — we will tell you exactly what that costs at the time. Your content, your pages and your site are yours regardless. Nothing here holds your website hostage.
